Dana Goodson
My trainer for nearly a decade, who sadly left us a couple of
years ago. One of the main reasons I want to have a big retirement
fight in Melbourne is to pay homage to Dana. We achieved so much
together, and now as one chapter of my life is about to close,
we cannot look back together and reminisce as his unfortunate
passing has deprived us of that opportunity. On my farewell fight
to Australian fans, I will also be saying thank you to Dana and
paying homage to the man who I shared so much with.
Black and Blue Leisurewear - Gary and
Elly Minos
Black and Blue have been my sponsors from the word go, and have
always been supportive in so many ways. Special thankyou to them.
Mr. Kancho Ishi K1 - Japan
Thanking Mr. Ishi for all his hard work and forsite in building
the sport of kickboxing and helping make Stan "The Man"
so popular in Japan.
Benny "The Jet" Urguidez
No doubt shared some of the most lucrative knowledge and experience
to myself and stablemates Pete "Sugarfoot" Cunningham
and Hector "The Actac Worrior" Pena every morning for
3½ years, while fighting under the Jet Team Banner. He
prepared us how to be special champions. How to be remembered,
make an impact.
John Forbes, Puma Australia
A sportman could not ask for better support than what John offers.
Early days when Australian media did not really care to much about
the sport of kickboxing John would always convey with papers etc.
to mention some of my early success overseas. Thank you and Puma for
the support and sponsorship.
Fans and followers around the world
I wish to say to all my followers and fans all over the world
something, you can be a great fighter, you can be the best fighter,
but if the fans don't want to see you or show any demand for you
then youre not worth much. The constant fan mail I receive
makes me feel that I made a real impact and left an impression
on so many of you around the world. It is what often helped during
down periods in my career. Your fan mail and support really moved
me. Thankyou to the fans.
